Is Youthpass available only for projects funded by the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes? What about projects funded by the earlier YOUTH Programme?
By decision of the European Commission, Youthpass is valid as of 1 January 2007. That is, Youthpass certificates can be issued to participants in projects funded by the "Youth in Action" programme (2007-2013), by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme (2014-2020), by the European Solidarity Corps Programme (2018-2020) and of course by the current pogramms (Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps).
Which projects can we issue Youthpass certificates for?
Within the Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps programmes, Youthpass certificates are available for all activity types.
In the “Youth in Action” programme, the certificates were available for the following Actions:
- Action 1.1 Youth Exchanges
- Action 1.2 Youth Initiatives
- Action 1.3 Youth Democracy Projects
- Action 2.1 European Voluntary Service
- Action 3.1 Youth in the World
- Action 4.3 Training and Networking
- Action 4.6 Partnerships
- Action 5.1 Meetings of young people and those responsible for youth policy
Can I still get a Youthpass certificate, even if my project took place a couple of years ago?
If you were a participant in a project that was supported by one of the Actions outlined above, you are entitled to a Youthpass certificate. This also applies if the certificate for that Action did not exist yet at the time the project took place.
In case you would like to obtain the certificate, please contact the organisation you were in touch with regarding your project. However you need to take into account that afters some years this organisation might not exist anymore.
