I am a participant and have finished editing my details. Can i download my certificate from the website, and where?
After you have finished editing your details and sent them to your organisation, they first need to accept the information that you have entered. After that, they can generate the certificate and print it out for you. Your organisation will need to sign the first two pages; and also the last page, in case they have been your dialogue partner and wish to confirm that with a signature.
Unfortunately, you cannot download the certificate from the website on your own.
The certificates should in principle be handed out signed, and as there is for the time being no digital signature option for Youthpass, they should be handed out on paper. Sometimes, organisations send out the certificates by e-mail and ask the participants to print them out on their own. In this case the certificate would come without the original signature. In some contexts, the signature may be important to show that this is an official and authentic document, so if you would prefer to have it signed, please let your organisation know.
